Q – What will the Trade card cost us?
A – The trade card is completely free to applicants be it the cash trade card or the credit account.
Q – So it is a credit card?
A – No, it purely identifies your account when you purchase materials at a Travis Perkins branch to ensure you get access to the scheme’s benefits. There are two options available, the Trade Cash Account which offers the benefits of the discounted rates for the products and services on a pay as you go basis or the Trade Credit Account, this option can be useful for cash flow purposes offering the benefit of a monthly account. The account also has several benefits including the option upon completion to obtain a consolidated account of the materials and services purchased for use in the VAT reclaim procedure.
Q – When can I get one?
A – You can register for the benefits of either accounts at any time in your project. Naturally the earlier you register the more time you will have to benefit from your membership and the better planned your materials expenditure can be. You can liaise with your dedicated Travis Perkins manager who can offer you advice on the types of material you need, procurement and delivery scheduling.
